Do I have to be in the mortgage industry to use Barber Law’s company formation legal services?
Absolutely not! We work with new businesses and entrepreneurs nationwide in the formation and governance of their businesses.

Do you review POAs for compliance with state law or investor guidelines?
Both! We review your POA according to state laws and will also ask for investor information so that we can ensure all requirements have been met.

Do you work with title companies?
Although the majority of our clients are mortgage lenders, we are frequently asked by title companies to prepare documents necessary to facilitate closings. Document preparation services provided to title companies include warranty deeds, heirship affidavits, and lien-related documents. We strive to complete all reviews within two hours.

What documents are required for Barber Law to complete the Texas attorney review?
Note, Security Instrument and any Riders, and supporting documents (title commitment, survey, and purchase contract if applicable).

Of course! Training is available to clients who may have questions about Texas laws, such as homestead or home equity lending.
